Just back from Southview where Percy had his first experience of indoor showjumping. He thought he was hilarious having a little bronco session after every fence in the warm up (Secretly I found it quite funny to). We just did the 2'9. I was so pleased with how brave he was. He jumped clear in the first round but had 4 faults in the jump off for 4th place. It was his first mounted prize giving but stood like a rock bless him. I think he had a great time and made lots of new friends. :-)
I've been to Southview Equestrian Centre today showjumping with Frankie. It was a clear round session but over 1.10m / 1.15m. It was quite scary when I first got there cause some of the big boys were out to play, so slightly intimidating. But we didn't let ourselves down and jumped two super clear rounds. I think we both enjoyed it as much as each other. At the same time I was breaking in my new Equiclass Boots, which are beautiful boots all the way from Italy and I was thrilled to finally be riding in them. Quite excited now to get out eventing. Just got to decide where to go...decisions decisions!!!
