Frankie hadn't been in a dressage arena since the beginining of January, and this evening was a dressage competition that had been scheduled to run in March but snow stopped play so it had to be rescheduled. It was a great opportunity to put into practise what Zoe Cappeart had been teaching me. I don't think I did to bad a job actually. We had a 72.14% in Novice 27 for 2nd place and 67.6% in Elementry 44 for 1st place. Frankie was very laid back and lovely. I must have been riding properly cause my legs were seriously aching afterwards and that usually happens when Zoe has taught me!!!
Today its my Birthday and what better way to spend it then xc schooling at the fantastic Somerford Park in the sun!!! I decided that with Weston Park Intermediate coming up for Frankie and having missed Somerford Park open novice due to cancellation and not having jumped a solid fence since Gatcombe Park in September 2012, I had better give him a little blow out. He didn't disappoint and popped round some quite decent fences without any blips. Such a little star.
