11 days ago…which seems like ages ago…Percy and I had a two day outing to Scope festival. The first day saw us jump second in the first class, the Graham Heath Novice and whizz off as we had a pony show to get to with Harriet. So we had no idea how we got on but we posted a positive and pretty speedy double clear. After a few phone calls hours later we discovered that we had actually taken 3rd out of 29. Super start to the festival.
We headed back the following day for the final of the same class. Jumped a super clear in the first round. Then the jump of course was a bit of a “s**t or bust” type course (can I say that on here🙊but it really was!!) We decided to go for it as we hadn’t come just to school round but we paid the penalty having our first faults in the sj ring since 2018. Our time was good enough for 4th but 8 faults dropped us to 14th. Never mind. We’d have been frustrated if we had played it safe and hadn’t tried and got a clear but too slow. But I was pleased with how he tried some tight turns for me.
No pictures or videos to show as I was on my own and in a rush 🙈😂
